serene56: Yes, I totally get that You live in a spectacular part of the world which I'm yet to visit and I do think there's something to be said for defined seasons.

Ours just kinda trip over each other and do a warm, cool, warm, chilly undecided thing so we wait for magpies to swoop and peck our eyes out for spring, flies for summer and a definitely-not-beach weather for the remainder How's Dave


That's what someone has said to me repeatedly, we have four distinct seasons, at least in BC anyway. laugh I have to admit, the weather there is a helluva lot better than east of the Rockies, and one can be outdoors every day, regardless of what it's like.

Dave's good, he has a clean garage and stuff to do, and can see things being a bit better than they were last winter. It's tough living here, but even harder for those that have difficulties over and beyond the "norm".
