WhatUwish4: Rubio is as close to working class as you can get, and he remains my first pick. We'll just have to wait and see.
I vote for the party rather than the individual. As Ooby said in one of his posts, good resolutions can be brought forth only to be vetoed by the opposition. Of course all we hear this side of border is Trump, not much else of the others.
Vote for Trump if for no other reason then to stop the madman Soros - if he is targeting Trump and Cruz, it is very likely they are on the right side of things:
George Soros is playing a major role in enabling and orchestrating the Islamic invasion of Europe and North America and with it the social chaos and degradation that now threatens the very nature and survival of civilization across the globe. For him it’s somehow personal, having taken a lead advocacy and funding position and laid out his own six-step plan for the invasion to continue and grow. He argues for the unimpeded march to full Islamist domination of the planet, or at a minimum to the level that suits the achievement of whatever devious schemes of his are in the works.
He appears to recognize that the opposition to his destruction of our nation, our continents and whatever planetary harmony remains is building and identified the primary threats to his anti-American efforts. It’s not surprising that those he is targeting are among the leadership of the political outsiders, those he has no control over, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.
It’s ironic that the premise of his op-ed against rational self-defense and in support of submission to the invasion is predicated upon an insistence that we not give in to the instinct to survive. He admits that even he, the most pervasive of political predators could only stop himself from an urge to respond to the terrorist threat that he is creating by remembering that it must be irrational to follow the wishes of your enemies. He makes that ironic statement as a component of his effort to persuade us to do nothing; to simply wait to be victimized by the hordes of terrorists he and his UN, EU elitist comrades are pouring across the civilized West. Liberal Marxists seem to be blind to their hypocrisy or to at a minimum believe their victims are.

allthegoodnamest: USA need a Kennedy in power .. I liked the one who married that Onassis woman.. What was his name. KFC
It is said that if Kennedy were alive today he would be considered a republican. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but for what you can do for your country." This is DECIDEDLY republican as liberals are all about what comes free to them.
Now if you're basing the qualifications on the appeal of the wives, Trumpie wins again.

Really? I guess these days I would, too, but I was always a registered independent until the Romney election. I would vote for anyone who I thought could get the job done - but these days the differences in the parties are so stark, I will stay republican.
I think Rubio would make an excellent president as he is not only very smart, but he's proven to be able to work across the aisle. He also loves this country and has great compassion. But again, like so many others he is running behind Trumpie

Look, forget that crap.. I've got £200 burning a whole in my pocket that I want to turn into £7 & a hangover. Are you up for it.
I do think it would be very interesting for Trump and Hillary to debate each other. Trump will not hold back on all the various crimes and scandals her media lapdogs have buried, and she would not have any protections from the discussion. She won't be able to swipe things under the table and things could get nasty very fast. She's already learned it doesn't pay to play the victim, so she will be forced to show her true nasty character. I, for one, would pay good money to see her forced to respond to his comments
If the 2016 presidential election was held today, 37% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for Clinton, while 36% would vote for Trump. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that a sizable 22% would choose some other candidate, while five percent (5%) are undecided.

The Republican field is split a dozen ways at the moment. Where do you think all those votes will go once the rest are eliminated? Cause I can promise you they won't be voting for Hillary.
If Trump wins the nomination, that "22%" Rasmussen says will vote for someone else will likely transfer to him since they won't have anyone else to vote for in their party. That leaves Trump with 58% of the vote....
Although Sanders has come second after Hillary Clinton in every major nationwide poll, a December 2015 Quinnipiac University poll showed him polling ahead of all four highest-polling Republican candidates in a hypothetical election matchup – Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and Ben Carson.
