Old fart time...saw David Jones ...okay Bowie 6 times live...wasn't my all time favourite...but damn....he WAS GOODS,...and I own every album...so lets grab a quick two that are NOT on your list,...ps...you weren't really a fan were you....so, so many missed...
I watched his Lazarus video last night and thought nobody should have to chronicle their own death. Not that he actually was doing that, but you have to know he was hinting in that direction. So sad, but classic Bowie.

Yes, he was...we lost Lemmy and Otis Clay all about the same time..., and I think the Stone Temple Pilots lost a lead singer....2016 is getting to be a rough year!
I do remember in the 80's, all the teenagers here were trying so badly to show to the world how different, innovative and sometimes crazy they are... It became absolutely stupid because very soon they all ended up looking and acting the same... Not a huge fan of David but he was a part of our teenage life, strange, pompous, not completely understood by many but "modern"... He was then what we tried to be, shining out of the crowd, provocative, out of the frame... But people don't realise the eagerness to differ makes us all the same... David knew how to play this card and did it well...

In fact, I believe he WAS chronicling his own death...and for that I hold him in admiration. A unique and talented individual that shall be missed. And, although David "experimented" with many religions, he finally settled on atheism...thus his video chronicle was to be expected...a FINAL farewell so to speak.
ziggy67: Bowie once said. Murder is wrong, but sometimes the world is a better place without certain people in it, this certainly applies to you, total scum of the earth.
As for the song, Cygnet Committee is my ultimate favourite, not known by many just fanatical fans like me Amazing piece of music once you understand it all.
Not familiar with that one, but Bowie was unique and will always be one of the greats. A definite legend!
