rohaan: We belong to a wonderfully exclusive club.
thats handy to know......does this club...give information on how to grow,(,bigger )melons.....green ones...and.???..should they be off the ground..to swing in the wind...in a net. to stop infection...thankyou.
Solamente: Personally, I feel the site administrators do a very good job and are flexible concerning what rules are broken, based on the severity of what was posted. (brownie points please )
What is your point of view?
Should admin PM the member giving reasons? Yes, they should.
Should admin issue a warning prior to the ban? Yes, they should
Should complains be forwarded to banned member? Disclosure of a specific complaint/report should not be divulged to the offender.
Should ban have a time frame with repeat warning? A specific time frame should be given to the offender and reactivation should be automatic once the given time frame has elapsed for each incident within reason.
Should "X" strikes and you're out rule apply? Depending on the severity of the offense, I think three strikes and you're out should be applied and adhered to.
Obviously the rules were/are set up for a reason if we choose not to follow them then obviously it's our choice if we break them for not following them.
Obviously adults shouldn't have to be told or reminded on a constant basis on how they are suppose to conduct themselves they should already just know.
If they should get banned then they have to suffer the consequences in the end result.

handy is only the beginning. My melons are just fine the way they are. They're about the size of kiwi, with just about as much fuzz. They stay pretty close to the nest, warm and comfortably sitting on a bed of soft brush. They're so cute, and so cool! Way up there with my favorite possessions....
Does it matter. You know what you posted so you should look carefully at what you have posted.
I must have sent admin dozens of scammers profiles, l sent 4 on sunday, they never reply, hardly remove the profile so what is the point. I had 2 women send unsavoury remarks to me(very), admin sent me a nasty message back for one.
Why also would so many profiles be on a site if they are not logged in to for "over 3 months", try doing a search on any country and only a few have been online in 2 weeks. After 3 months l believe that they are not coming back so delete them, if they do want to return then make a new profile.
The worst of forums is the bad people that use it and the way that they post to others gives an idea why they are here and not happily married, women posters take the biscuit and l can imagine how it would be to be married to any of them, just remember that sometimes................ 'you get less for murder'.
At the end of the day the site is 'Theirs', they do as they wish because it's them that pick up the advertising cheque.

We would like to be treated with the "customer service" model, but once people are perceived as having broken the rules they're not really viewed as customers any more, the become rule breakers.
We wouldn't expect someone vandalizing the mall, or shoplifting to be treated with the customer service model.
The trouble comes in when it's gotten wrong.
I once had a security person in a local grocery store grab me from behind because he though he saw me slip a pair of shoelaces in my pocket.
Too much of that could put a struggling business under.
It's such a known issue for retailers, on wrong stop is automatic

It is my personal opinion that members are blocked for a reason. Some of this comes from complaints from other members; some of it is audited and the content, for whatever reason, is deemed inappropriate. I do believe that people deserve a note from (whoever) explaining why an action was taken, whether or not the site is "Theirs". My reason for this is because the service (the club) is offered, the response mechanism is offered, and sometimes it doesn't seem reasonable or apparent as to why the ban or omission/deletion is made. It's really just about courtesy. Now, can I get back to my warm, fuzzy little kiwis, please?

When you exchange money for a product or service, you are a customer.
CS is free, therefore, we are not customers. Each person is a member.
Members know the Rules. It might be a good idea when a new member has passed the 7 day wait time for CS to send them an email requiring them to read the Rules and "check the box" verifying that they read the Rules. It's not that hard to follow the Rules. Once in awhile someone might go off track a little bit. We all know when we did it

Members here are customers.
We are why there is revenue to run the site.
It is a business not a charity, a no one's doing anyone a favor
putting up a free to use site with ad's.
The currency we give is our exposure to the ad's.
Not viewing members of ad revenue driven sites as customers,
leads to bad customer service, which inhibits growth of the site.
