rohaan: I could be mistaken, but it seems to me that Oregon has been a very casual, relaxed region as far as being "dressed up" goes. I've been in a three piece a few times, for extremely special events, however, many people show up at a variety of events, etc...almost looking as if they're going camping or hiking. There doesn't appear to be any "set" rules. It used to be said of Seattle that Gortex and Black Tie go hand in hand. Personally, I like the U.K. look of a gentleman farmer standing next to his barn with Wellingtons, jaunting cap, vest and tweed sports coat while holding a pitchfork. We're not exactly like that, but same idea.
