KenTn: Our choice of government can seriously impact the way we live.
While I am all for people owning their own businesses, I also believe that education, health, and housing should be equally attainable to all citizens, not just the rich and powerful. If we had a "complete" capitalistic society, the lower wage earners would not get the same, or at least, the same quality. I am bold enough, even as a retired health care professional who made money because of the rich (!) to say that I truly and emphatically believe that health care should be the same for all, not just the privileged or rich class. Likewise education. (I believe that if you prove yourself academically, college should be readily available, the same as elementary or high school). We live in a culture now that allows constructive eviction so that neighborhoods are gentrified. This is wrong. It's like saying that if you are middle class or below, you can't have a nice house or apartment to live in. Please tell me you think that sucks, too.

A centre right Government would be my preference, although there is a trend developing here towards voting for the looney left socialists, not a good thing IMO.
Surprised that Sanders is so popular with voters in America, it's not a country I would have associated with socialism.

Swiss on foreign policy, nationalist at the border, Japanese on culture, malleable on economics, disciplinarian on education and law & order, socialist on health, capitalist on technology.
A government where politicians act for the interest of their country, and its people.- Now you might say, that i live and looking forward in a ""dream land"". you might be right,"" dreaming is not taxable"".-
lifeisadream: Poll: Which form of government do you like most?
Communism Socialism Capitalism New World Order I'm Undecided
We "mortals" do not decide the form of goverment in our countries.
Do you have any thing against the capitalism of your country?
I've been a member of the "mortals" group since the day I was born and I too do not decide the form of government in my country. Overall, I do not have anything against capitalism in its purest form but I am against the corruption its capable of breeding. The America people are currently in the midst of a political battle against government corruption and the future of this country is very much dependent on the outcome of the general election this November. If the Democrats win, Clinton or Sanders, America may take a giant step towards Socialism. If a Republican wins, we're hoping the Constitution can be restored and the heavily embedded corruption in the GOP Republican establish can eventually be rooted out.

In a socialist system the means of production are controlled by the state so USA is way far from it.
Education in socialist-communist countries can be even harder than in capitalist countries. We have lots of immigrants from Cuba and they are top regarding their field of expertise as professors at the state university so what your YouTube video states is just a cheap propaganda to brainwash people.
When my children were little and they did attend elementary school in USA their teachers recommended that their homework had to take not more than 45 min while in our country my children would spend as long as necessary to finis their homework and it was more than 45 min.
What is your opinion on the education system in China?

I was accused of being a liberal...from a member here on CS...lol...many Americans equate socialism with communism...which puzzles me...Canada has good healthcare for all and although we pay for university or college...our student loans program offers low interest...Justin Trudeau (PM) may make two years worth of college free to help students out...not sure if it will happen but we do need to lower the costs for them...and programs for adults with little education or unemployed are offered education to increase their potential for employment or better income...my union offers this to LPNs to upgrade to RN...subsidizing the cost helps people not hinder...

I am a liberal and would take that rather as a compliment.
Education from school should be available for every one. Education is the only way to overcome our fears and in that be able to live a life where everyone matters.

Education comes from:
Home School Life
When you offer education...it helps...so many need to improve their situation...unlike just giving food only in the past regarding helping third world countries...programs that help people to become self sufficient...rather than becoming dependent on countries for aid...it's a good thing...
welllllll. after....much thought....most goverment officals.......would look better behind bars..(prison)for crimes against their countries.....for whom they are suppose to represent........
