1964, '65, '66 or '67 Ford Mustang, Pony style, convertible. Fave color would be turquoise out and white interior. Two blue and black fuzzy dice hanging from mirror. Bucket seats, auto on the floor. A nice finish would be an elk horn shift topper.

I had a Mach 2 Mustang 356, side pipes and all the bits, my mate had a Mach 1, mine was Left hand Drive so not too good in the UK but if l had it now it would be good, the V8 sounded beautiful through the pipes l remember it well.

Wonderful cars. Sonny and Cher had a matched set--totally rad.
KremaP: My beloved Renault 5 TG Turbo Coupe 1985...270hp...mint condition... Don't know how to upload my own photo on a thread...
I had 3 R5's, one was a numbered "Black Beuty". Alas a huge Locust tree fell on it in a storm and it got crushed. I think the car was jinxed because prior to being crushed it was rear ended by a Cadillac.

I saved this beauty from being torn apart and sold peace by peace... It is very rare, only about 160 ps have been produced. Well, some of the parts have been changed, she got brand new Gotti wheels and a Volvo engine plus a powerful sound system...but unscratched original paint and interior in really mint condition.
Back in the 80's a turbo'd R5 was used as a pase car for several Indy car races mostly on the smaller tracks. It didn't have quite the "stuff" for pacing the big tracks. I had 2 friends who worked for Renault in Michigan. One was Patrick Jacquemart Google him. He could have risen to a seat in a F1 car had he not met an untimely end at Mid Ohio race track. It was my association with them that got me a chance to own my Black Beauty. I drove from MI to NJ (11 hours) and when I got home I took the car out for a joy ride with my wife. Such was the fun of driving a great handling car. At the time I said I felt I could literally drive the car back to Michigan with no problem.

. Treated with respect a Renault 5 will go on forever, the Renault 12 was always a favourite of the "Looky Looky Men" in Spain, many were shipped to African countries because of their reliability.
Another car favoured is the Fiat Uno, many are still running as taxis in Morocco, still easy to get pieces and a guy near to me buys them when he can and breaks them and ships to Morocco, but also does Angola where they will buy pretty much anything.
One guy who had business problems when the crisis started shipped his fleet of 25 trucks to Angola and there is also big business in second hand construction equipment.
rebel2: A very rare car! A collectors dream and worth a lot. So glad you saved it and cherish it.
Thanks Reb, good to see someone who appreciates this car... I will put a photo of it on my profile if you want to see it... Don't want to show off but I can't help it haha...

I do appreciate it and I would loved to have had the chance to drive one. A photo would be nice, thank you.

I have just looked and it really looks the part! It has presence, a shape, not like most of the cars being driven around today. You keep it lovely, good for you!

Hey Tom, that Elan looks like a copy of a Miata which is a copy of an Elan. I already have my favorite sports car, a 94 R model Miata with Koni's on it. A great car for tooling around the back roads here in Virginia. The only problem is you can't let it have it's head too much due to private driveways which dump out onto the roads. You have to keep a fair amount in reserve to avoid T-Boning someone who doesn't expect anybody else to be on "their" road.
