I find your choices limiting.
Cabin in the woods, remote cottage something along those lines would suit me.
But sheds, one has to have sheds. Never enough sheds.
Having lived in a castle, it is over rated. Stunning views yes but also way to many curios people nosing around. Always have to keep the gates shut.
And you don't want to have an alcohol problem, the stone spiral staircase is lethal, even when sober.

As I would be a mistress or keeped woman I am now any way with in our reinactment group Renaissance The SCA,
I would be feed and clothed live in and have a large compound to spend time being entertained Knights to protect me a King and Queen and the onterage that goes with that. and where'?? in Germany of cause.
