some dreadful films out there maybe torture would be preferable (muppets isnt bad actually ha ha) but if the torture was to watch the worst film, which one would it be

Decent list of films I wouldn't watch in fairness.
But, but
You ruined it with your John Wayne option
The Duke was a very underrated actor but I thought some of the movies were fantastic.
The Searchers and The Sons of Katie Elder are two of my fave's.
My brother was diagnosed with Cancer a few years back and his wife bought him the complete set of John Wayne movies, which led to some of his mates wishing they were sick too
Wizardglick: The latest StarWars movie has to rank up there Utter garbage
I lost interest after the first three the saga seemed to take a nosedive or get trapped in a warp of some kind.... but I have to admit I liked the force awakens it was akin to the first three...... (a hint of nostalgia in the air me thinks LOL)

ha ha I remember being subjected to them by my late father as a child tedious didnt even come close to describe them for a little girl who preferred Tarzan and Buck Rogers (LOL) am I giving my true age away here oops...

None on your list - All your WW2 how we won the war films are flag waving lies and over acted crap too. BUT I will say that the Duke was under-rated as an actor and I would watch the Muppets any day too because as the late Highly talented Jim Henson said, the Muppets were based on his and the team's observation and mannerisms of real people. JMO
I love the Muppets! (Except for the one made in 2011 starring that Jason Segal)
Add any Jason Segal film to my list of hates!
Mission Impossible II is also up there as a crappy film.
The Night Watch based on the Rembrandt painting must have been one of the most boring film I ever sat through though. I only stayed because the director was at the viewing and didn't want to insult him

You remind me of those two blokes high up in the theatre of the muppet show

Hey, my two favourite movies are on that list. Transformers and Casablanca.
BerrySmoothie: Hey, I'm not laughing at you, rather with you.
Nope....I tell a lie.....it's AT you.
I dunno why....but you crack me up....
I'm sorry.
I also recognize his self-deprecating tongue-in-cheek nature. Many don't pick up on that. Rumples is multi-faceted and some of those facets I can do without, but I am still endeared to several of his facets.
John Wayne??????????????????? Seriously and three votes. That's just...just....just...I can't even finish that sentence. Wow. But I guess different strokes for different folks.

Hiya KB,
I thought it was just ME.....
His humour is unbelievably dry....and I do find it hilarious, at times.
...even when he's not trying to be funny, at all...
He's going to make an interesting husband for the right woman, I have to say....
