Time to boycot Guinness, not many people know the cruelty involved in the Guinness process,
the Guinness cows are housed in huge sheds often in very crowded conditions, they are forced fed black treacle and Marmite. They are permantly connected to the milking machines that extract the raw Guinness which is then sent off to be fermented before being bottled or tinned.

I have witnessed this terrible cruelty first hand, some cheap farmers actually feed the cows bovril along with treacle. The poor animals are denied music and this makes them even sadder. The RSPCA keep raiding the farms but are always too late.

One day the cows will rise up and enter the EU court and be given the same rights as humans, robots and more recently Chickens.

Sponsored by Barry's Tea, Great tea and cow friendly.

Really?, I always assumed there were a load of lactating women that donated your milk, It does have sweet notes unlike the typical bovine variety. Thank you for educating me...cows milk....who would have thought.

Female lactation donations stopped in the 1970s when women went out to work rather than staying at home lactating and getting their husband's slippers and pipe ready for him on his return home from a hard day at the office.

Molly as always full of Irish history and facts, many thanks, But I see you have cows milk, but who now brings the man his pipe and slippers? Do little orphan's or leprechauns now carry out this vital role, or has man been reduced to self help? grin

the heads of Coors, Budweiser and Guinness are all sitting in a restaurant. When the waitress comes over she takes their drinks order first

'Ill have a silver bullet' says the Coors guy
'Ill have the king of beers' says the Budweiser guy
'Lemonade please' says the head of Guinness

The other two look at him ... 'Lemonade?'

'Well if you're not drinking beer neither am I'

cheers

No cannot deal with that!
Yet milking cows I see every day trudging to the sheds to be milked.
Baby calves taken away so too soon as well.
Silently being on their own with no mother to feed from.
