No. I don't see why he should. Lot's of wealthy people have vested interests outside their own country. Should we stop foreigners from investing or buying up the USA?
I think the preoccupation that MSM (main stream media) has with his & his families money is ridiculous.
There are much bigger fish out there, to worry about

Trump wants other companies to keep their investment in USA should not Trump lead with his own example?

"Last month, taxpayers forked over nearly $100,000 to protect Eric Trump while he was on a business trip to Uruguay. and
And the Defense Department is looking to rent space in Trump Tower — which goes for as much as $1.5 million a year per floor — so they can bring the nuclear launch codes along when the president comes to visit his wife in New York."
Yes, how can A PERSON require another to by only American, when Trump isn't selling American, and his product brand comes from overseas... yet he talks about savig jbs with companies to saty in America?
Somethng wrong with that picture. Although you will nerev hear tell of his supporters saying one thig or commenting about this Trump dissimulation on CS or anywhere else for that matter... they are pleased with whatever Trump does with his money and their money until it starts to effect them come tax time, THEN you will start to hear them screaming and speaking out seeking recompense crying crucify him!!!!.
Therefore, don't expect many to post the truth about Trump demanding companies to stay in America YET his company makes theirs clothing overseas and import to America... because what you ask is of a truth, and Trump's supporters can't stand the truth... they will of course, fire back with negative insults, name calling, and alternative facts, but THE TRUTH SURPASSES THEIR UNDERSTANDING... a double-minded person is unstable in all his/her ways..

They have not even checked Trump's tax plan I bet you, otherwise they would not be that happy, unless they live in a "basement" and pay no taxes

""The vast majority of the 500-some legal entities in which Trump has a position are based in the U.S. These include the bulk of his most profitable assets, such as his commercial real-estate portfolio in Manhattan and the golf resorts scattered around the country that bear his name.""

Yes, of course ... he should carve out all of his golf courses and airlift all his hotels and real estate back to the USA
What a totally dumb assed poll !
Take a ticket and stand in line for the next available therapy bear!
I think people are missing the point. Out sourcing has become cheaper and easier than many operations here in the U.S. Trump hasn't denied any of it and in the world of business, for profit margins, none will pass or miss the opportunities if they can afford it. Trump is vested in about 500 different companies. He's a rider with other investors in many areas as well. No telling how much more he might have given up turning potential partners away knowing he was going to be a U.S. president during the campaign and election processes. Trumps golf courses and hotels are fixed. It's not likely that they're moving many , if any, imports and exports out. His manufacturing companies follow right along the lines our own government has allowed since NAFTA, GATT, and other agreements.
Companies are moving or outsourcing outside of the U.S. paying tens to hundreds of millions of dollars less in over head, companies like the automotive industries, then making billions shipping it back in and selling it. Mean while, we've taken job loss hits across the board in many industries. There are hundreds of thousands lost further to regulations and taxes.
Our manufacturing and production are in the tank. Our energy field jobs are hit pretty harshly too. Toyota isn't even a U.S. based company but have become one of the top five manufacturers in the nation. Hyundai isn't a U.S. based company but making investments. Automotive is a huge industry and a large boost but it's not enough or the only type of industries we want or need, let alone, lost or losing.
Our economy is being ravaged as we continue to import tens of billions of dollars worth of product, more, than we export. It isn't even remotely sustainable with out actual jobs.
Technology isn't the reason we're down over 5 million jobs. Technology on the scale sometimes promoted will never replace the jobs lost. It's true that technology will be the reason not as many jobs will have a chance to come back, but we would still be millions of jobs ahead compared to now if we have enough incentive for investment and growth.
There's a larger circle. It's not to stop trade or doing business with foreign countries. If it happens with certain products or areas but helps the nation, then so be it. We even have one of the cheaper import tariffs. We're making too many investment every where else and not getting enough in return. Until some actual policies and regulations change, growth isn't going to happen much.
Do you really think some one will rip up a golf course or hotel to relocate it over seas? That doesn't even make any sense to suggest. They will continue to build them new or renovate newly acquired old. How about manufacturing plants? Again, best to re-open or start new. Is it possible that local manufacturing could cause foreign manufacturing to shut down? I think it's pretty obvious on that lat question. There are many more investments and businesses than these. that Trump is vested in. Even if he wasn't currently POTUS, not all of his investments are under his control or say any way.

I buy American first.
I choose to spend more on American made products, even though it takes a larger percentage of my meager income.
I chose to buy American products over imports, while Donald was moving his factories to Mexico.
The fact that an American billionaire president, doesn't invest the same percentage of his money to help Americans as I do...
mykingdomforanam: Should Trump move his own business interests and money back to America too?
Maybe he will to some degree. But it is pretty funny to read you comparing yourself to him, "financially"
And the other laugh is the wrinkly old grape that never made it to the wine cellar so just sits in the dust soaking up as much spirits to create some deluded sense of "reality" and mold it into a wobbly bit of a personality.

Trump has said that his fortune is 10 billion Fortune Magazine says Trump's fortune is 3.8 Billion (even with 10 billion there are many more men and women way richer than he is "now").
As a gesture of peace I am giving a little present to:
Lindsy 1 billion Epirb 1 billion Comrad 1 billion Galrads 0.9 billion (sorry not enough to back up your one billion bill)
"The other" you are not getting any .......
I got those one billion bill on sale!
btw until Trump delivers his tax returns his "huge" fortune will be known.

You're so generous , one thing when he eventually leaves the Whitehouse in 8 years the Government silver will have remained unused and still there unlike after the Clintons as I doubt Trumpy would eat off or with anything that did not have his picture or name embossed on it .
YouMeUs: Well golly gee, another liberal attempt to smear the President again.
Are you really that concerned? Well alrighty...so let's do some maths then, shall we?
An average full-scale golf course on a busiest day can employ roughly 250 workers.(based on an actual Trump golf course.) On an average day that can be cut nearly in half, but let's keep that 250 workers just for the fun of it. We'll leave the hotels be since, well, people do need a place to stay when travelling abroad...or did we forget that factor? But just to save face, an average Trump hotel hires roughly 500 workers and generally at maxed staff.
An average factory can employ 500 workers at a steady rate, but could easily increase to 750-1000 workers as demands arise, or easily decrease to 250 workers when demands are low.
An average manufacturing plant (mega factory) can employ 1250 workers at a steady rate, but could easily increase to 1750-2500 workers as demands arise, or easily decrease to 750 workers when demands are low.
An average industrial complex (mega manufacturing facility) can employ an average of 2500 workers at a steady rate, but could easily increase to 3750-5000 workers as demands arise, or easily decrease to 1250 workers when demands are low.
Now let's combine those maxed workers from the golf course and motel; 250 + 500 = 750 And now let's combine the manufacturing workers just on the averages; 500 + 1250 + 2500 = 4250
Now had you paid attention to President Trump's speech, he stated that American manufacturing will return to the US and that Americans will get their jobs back. The majority of President Trump's 500 businesses are already in the US, and you're trying to make a huge issue over those that are abroad? Your stance is like comparing a sack of beans left in Brazil over a truckload of beans sitting in a farmer's field in North Dakota.

After the Clinton? Do you mean after Bill Clinton, well sure you need to brush up your numbers because the USA economy with B Clinton was ok or even better than with some other presidents.
"as I doubt Trumpy would eat off"
Time...
Just remember Trump's fortune is 3.9 billions now and I bet you one kidney that will be way up when Trump leaves the white House and yours and Trump supporters fortune lucky it will be the same.
