fur-de-lance-snakes have a nasty painful bite. And Dangerous.

Thank you for the info and yes I always check about risks with animals (including persons laugh )
but what about renting a car and going around in Costa Rica? any experience on that?

In Perú I wanted to rent a car but the roads are not safe (les safe than here uh oh ) and there are places where there were not signs (not internet reception either) so it would it have been very difficult to guess which road to take at times. I was traveling by bus and the bus driver knew the roads so not problem for him. In fact that bus was only for foreigners and everyone had to present their passport and their ticket in order to get in. They do not allow locals in those buses to avoid local criminals. In Perú, I did fly the most I could but for some routes it was not possible so the only way was by bus yet there were delays in the flights and a headache as well with Avianca but some people would say all the airlines have a rather terrible service.

Thank you!

I have already been at Turkey and I have enjoyed its culture, its nature...loved it.

Are you the guy who was offering "housing" to women only?
Not I would be interested in it, just because your face seemed familiar giggle

You like chilly peppers?I love chilly peppers. When I studied over immune system and healthy liver I noticed that green and red colored vegetables are good for liver and immune.

Peppers have both colors. So it is great support for immune.I like them hot.Without hot peppers and yoghurt meal is not meal for me.

Pedone la confusión Señor!

laugh

Mexican cuisine is rich in vegetables and peppers (chiles) are an importan ingredient in it and Turkish cuisine is exquisite as well with lots of fresh vegetables, fruits (quince) and some meats (not much of a meat eater though if I can avoid it I will).

Yogurt in Turkey was very good, to my taste it was even better than the Greek but since I do not speak either language it was difficult to know what they were made of because yogurt can be made with milk from cows, sheep or even goats, so I could have been comparing them erroneously.

btw I am an angel too or so says my Grandma.

Yoghurt usually made from cow milk here.It must be the home made yoghurt.

From fresh milk and some yoghurt is used to leavening.

There are a lot of things to do in Turkey.

Are you sure you are in/from Turkey?
or are you an immigrant nurse?

laugh

"This could well have been a local speciality yogurt.Plus each farm has their own recipe which can alter the taste of the yogurt as well as ...Goat milk(keçi sütü)is usually quite tangy but sheep milk(koyun sütü)is creamier and not quite as tangy or sharp.Buffalo milk is su sigir sütü but I haven't tried that one (to my knowledge). The age of the yogurt can also alter the taste a bit too. Most yogurt made for commercial purposes is made from cows milk.

Others you may find include Silivri, which has a very thick cream layer on the top.Torba yogurdu, which is made from fat free milk and ayran. The Denizli area produces a local one called yanik yogurdu-burnt yogurt which has quite a different flavour and it is possible this was on sale in the Selçuk area."

No I am not an immigrant nurselaugh We don't buy yoghurt from the store we do it ourselves from boiled fresh cow milk with little bit of yoghurt from last brew.In a casserole rolled up in a blanket.Than it is is ready the next morning.

Commercial yoghurt is no good.Others as goat milk yoghurt or sheep milk yoghurt are heavier than the cow milk yoghurt.

Those are probably to consume once or twice a week. But cow milk yoghurt is lighter suitable for everyday or once every two day.

I like Torba yoghurt too.It means bag yoghurt.Simply yoghurt is put in a fabric bag and wait for the water to filter from yoghurt.Than it is more tuff yoghurt.

I love all milk products but not commercial ones.Cause they don't go odd.It must be magic.

Normal yoghurt goes sour.They don't.

year round, but, never leave the tourists area.

You risk a lot.

I forgot about this thread! Sorry! Thanks Posole, I'll keep that in mind.
I actually went to Prague recently, and none of the above laugh but haven't given up on them.
Prague was lovely, weather great.
Switzerland and Greece winning the poll. Not surprised really. Two lovely countries.

Alas, I prefer "staycations" these days. Where I live may be a bit past your budget - and anyways, summer fades this time of year - and this place isn't everyone's "cup of tea"
