Will any of these problems doom humans? Is there any order we should approach in resolving them? Did I forget any threat? Are there any trade-offs like returning to horse transportation instead of using cars and deal with horse manuire instead of automobile pollution sources?

you forgot the worst threat
liberalism it spreads quickly with no known cure , and there has never been a case of self diagnosis .
WhatUwish4: I was sooo tempted, but its not polite to gloat.
Good to see you are still here. I always enjoyed your posts!
Obviously you are more polite than I , gloated , smirked for weeks and I still do . I just could not see the election was as close as the media was saying . The four members here who change their vote now and again "hardened" after the primaries , Raddy's one , that's right aye Raddy ? Still all's well that end's well .

I couldn't see it either. Everywhere I went during the election, all I saw were Trump signs and bumper stickers. None for Hillary and few few for Bernie. Too bad you could not have been here to attend one of his rallies! You would probably have loved that.

OK... over.
I watched one rally , the big one . Crowd were chanting at the media . I thought the crowd was going to lynch them , rather hoping they would . At least that would have had the mainstream media mention that Trumpy had a crowd . Pity they left early . I watched Clinton's as well , courtesy of Millie Weaver's U-Tube channel . Very small crowds with unhappy people leaving that could be seen leaving . Big difference between T's crowds euphoria and C's little crowds of impending doom . Raphy put it in a box , she was not charismatic . gota go to work

Hillary r Clinton would make a good president, one day, of something. She rocks.

None will be fixed first. We are a poor example of why God put us on earth like a personal Ant Farm. We are going to be Check mated but exactly when is to be seen.

I hear you but when one works for the dirty bat establishment One must be either dumb or scared to not see clearly which seems to me like 90% or more of the aflickted. In the last 30 plus years I have worked for them I have seen way more change than I have seen Progress In My Opinion. Really

Does increasing world tensions include Road Rage? Maybe that North Korean dictator was cut off on the freeway and now is building nuclear warhead missiles.

I can definitely see how you would feel that way! There seems to be no difference in today's definition of "progress" and "regress."
Global Warming, pollution, greenhouse gases, population increases, diminishing fish and other wildlife will likely cause a slow, agonising end to mankind but nuclear weapons proliferation coupled with increasing world tensions will do us in much quicker.

So True, 2Intrigued.........
Science in America - Neil deGrasse Tyson <---- I love this guy.
"People have lost the ability to judge what is true and what is not. What is reliable and what is not. What you should believe or not."
"Science seeks truth. every minute we are in denial we are delaying the political solution that should have been established years ago."

I agree, road rage is definitely increasing world tensions, Kim included. What we need are all cars and trucks be built with a anti road rage chip built into the auto driving cars of the future. If your car detects road rage, it pulls to the side of the road and plays classical music.

I think one serious threat you forgot is earth getting hit by a asteroid, or volcanos in yellowstone park all going off at once....science tells us its a matter of time.
The greying babies. Our economically illiterate elders who having lived a life six social classes above the going rate is set to retire a mere 3 social classes above that rate and is so pissed off it may even vote for a fascist, a fascist or at the very least another round of pawning the family silver to finance a jolly like they did in the 1980s.

And we are resolving these through Brexit and Trump which act as pressure relief valves to release all of the hot air out of generation me. They need to do their James Dean rebel without a cause bit and we're just in for the ride. When the ride is over, and assuming they haven't got us killed, we can then deal with education and the economy and whatever problems the environment brings up.
Remember that we come from people who faced tremendous odds again and again, we were the greatest peoples on earth before the baby boomers and still can be. Within our civilisation is a genius and a spirit unequalled in the history of mankind, and it was once said that the only way we can match the power of our enemies was to become authoritarians ourselves. Now they were wrong before and it will be wrong again.
