No wonder where our Greek members got their loyalty to patriarchal favours.

newinsouth: They are out there! Dumb me fell for it: the nice in the beginning. By the time the cracks began to show it was too late, I was his wife. His mother didn't want him and he was sent to live with an aunt. His father married a second time and she died too. As my ex put it "he killed two women". Didn't allow him in our house and refused to let the kids go to his funeral. What a perfect person to school his kids on their "bad" mother.. . . . . me.

Did you see groups of larger louts getting drunk & beating the crap out of each other?
Did you see any old people being mugged?

Or did you see a beautiful safe country, where people don't have to install several security devices in order to feel safe in there own homes?

Working with rainbow of disability, I've learn that feeling sorry for people doesn't help but only to give them moral, emotional support and help them to empower themselves with informations that can help in improving their situation.
