I’ve got my fingers crossed for Tesla’s success too. I drove one recently in the hands-off navigation mode in heavy traffic on a winding twisting highway interchange on an overcast day. Scary as hell. I think I held my breath.
Those cars are like maintenance free except if the batteries ever need replaced. The electric motors decelerate a Tesla real quick so breaks get little use. Wild quiet ride. Talk about torque. And acceleration is like 0-65 in < 4 seconds.

If they can ever get the batteries perfected it should be great. Right now Tesla bleeds money. They say the plant is a high tech sweat shop with workers pushed to the point of passing out. Bring on the robots I guess.

lindsyjones He put his own Tesla Roadster in space with the with the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch and it’s now on its way to Mars with a dummy spaceman in the driver’s seat and David Bowie music playing......
I would love to have worked with someone pushing the different technology envelopes like Musk is. That’s genius imo.
