Trying to get this thread back on track., Perhaps a little truthful information about the AR15 would be helpful.
It is legal for hunting in 40 out of 50 states IIRC. The reason it is not in all 50 is the bore size is considered too small for big game in the other states.
I'll repeat that it is semi-automatic rifle and not fully automatic like the military uses. The upper barrel is interchangeable with a .22. So it's like getting more than one gun in one. .223 and 5.56 is the largest bore barrel that fits the platform.
But here is where the AR!5 really shines.
Hunting With .223 Ammo
The .223 bullet is great for specific types of game, like coyotes and various varmints. The great thing about .223 ammo is that it is inexpensive and is very accurate out to a couple hundred yards depending on the rifle.
