20 hours and not 1 comment? 2 votes, and someone actually voted yes. Can you believe that? wow

Are you talking about an American?

rolling on the floor laughing

The poll is basically aimed at an American audience but feel free to vote and comment.

I was just making light of the poll title

Oh, ha ha.

I voted know. But, what difference does it make considering there are existing laws prohibiting this gun acquisitions but they aren’t enforced. dunno

common sense says a mental health problem needs to have care just to survive, but having the ability to hurt someone is very serious and requires much responsibility.

its ok no crosseyed bowlegged or crazy on right to bear arms.

why is it ok for ahabs n illegals to have guns, the last shooter in florida was a muzrat after school shooting n no school kids bitched about that,hm.but we want ur guns!

If a criminal or some crazy person wants to hurt you

they will do it with or without a gun,

they will use a knife a baseball bat, etc.

Also it should be noted that criminals do not
buy their guns from a gun shop,
they buy them from other thugs that get them illegally.
So this poll seems pretty biased.

Why don't you create a thread on the fake school shootings going on in the US?

Create a thread on how they want to take the guns away from people.

Explain to the folks at home how did David Hogg an ALLEGED survivor of the School Shooting in Florida was not an 18 years old student but is a 25 year old guy who lives in California and is a crisis actor

yes knives n drugs, etc.kill more americans each yr.n cell phone drivers guns are last on the list,hm!but we want ur guns!

where is the outrage CNN,etc.!

I heard in the USA that firefighters are replacing their hoses with flame throwers, any truth in this?

u can buy em at a army surplus store now in working order?

1, There is a very big difference between attacking a person with a knife and bat vs a gun. With a knife or bat the attacker has to get up close and personal, with a gun the attack can be carried out at a distance. The Las Vegas shooter killed 58 people from the 33rd floor of a hotel.
2, I agree, criminals steal guns from law abiding citizens. That is part of the problem when there are so many guns out in circulation fewer guns = fewer opportunities for criminals to get their hands on guns. How is this poll biased?
3, Your charge of a "fake school shootings" is itself FAKE

"He has also been a target of several conspiracy theories and verbal attacks falsely claiming he may be a crisis actor".

I see you're a fan of Alex Jones.

dems dont need guns they kill too many kids, etc.

Maybe more definition might help.

A person arrested for urinating in public is considered a "sex offender" even if they were in private before an officer happened by.

They're considered a criminal even though their thoughtlessness or drunken stupor did no actual harm to any one or any thing.

True that their actions may not have been right but should they be penalized so harshly for the rest of their lives?

2 things, I had no idea taking a pee outdoors could be considered a sex crime. I think that should be changed. Next, I saw a thing on TV where this cop pulled a woman over for DUI and she had to go so she pulled down her pants and squatted right on the road and relieved herself. The cop simply waited for her to finish and continued with the process of arresting her for drunk driving. She wasn't charged as a sex offender.
Prob I should have said Violent Criminal.
Thanks for valuable info.

You haven’t been to Denver Colorado or New York City if you think peeing in public is a sex offense everywhere. wave

Never, never and to clarify any doubts - NEVER.

Rationale - Would you give a gun to a child? Do you see any similarities?

Never, Ever, Never!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as the parameters for identifying mental illness don't include rich white men, like the Las Vegas shooter, the worst killers will always have all the guns and ammunition they want.

It should depend on what the metal disorder is. If it is something like an eating disorder then the person shouldn't have to automatically give up their right to self defense. How about someone who has occasional depression? Probably all you will do is keep people from seeking treatment for certain problems, if they thought they would be giving up their rights if they went to a doctor. So it should depend on how serious the disorder is IMO.

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person— (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; (2) is a fugitive from justice; (3) is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802)); (4) has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution; (5) who, being an alien— (A) is illegally or unlawfully in the United States; or (B) except as provided in subsection (y)(2), has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (as that term is defined in section 101(a)(26) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 (a)(26))); (6) who has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; (7) who, having been a citizen of the United States, has renounced his citizenship; (8) is subject to a court order that restrains such person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner of such person or child of such intimate partner or person, or engaging in other conduct that would place an intimate partner in reasonable fear of bodily injury to the partner or child, except that this paragraph shall only apply to a court order that— (A) was issued after a hearing of which such person received actual notice, and at which such person had the opportunity to participate; and (B) (i) includes a finding that such person represents a credible threat to the physical safety of such intimate partner or child; or (ii) by its terms explicitly prohibits the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against such intimate partner or child that would reasonably be expected to cause bodily injury; or (9) has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.WIKI

From the US 1968 Gun-Control-Act!

you need to enforce the Laws,NOT making new one!doh

That can only happen in those states where they have meaningful laws, maybe all states need the same Gun laws, Ohio is trying but the children are throwing their toys out of the pram, laws do not mean taking guns away, the mean having responsibility for having guns
