Wow, a pretty overwhelming response in the right direction, on this poll. Good work, chaps!
The mannish-looking short hair we see on many women today is, like women wearing pants, a relatively recent invention. For the vast majority of our history, women wore their hair long, all their life, just "typing it up" as they got older.

mannish looking hair? My hair may be short, by I can assure you that there is nothing remotely mannish about me or my hair.

I've read many of your "opinions" ...
And I am not in the slightest worried about you... Madam pink? Is that all you can come up with?!
Harbal: In that case I can only assume that you've already left him in no doubt about his chances.
The lady has told you three times, i consider her a friend , there were never any romantic exchanges between us, and she knows my romantic position, now let it go, you are embarrassing yourself.

I have long dark hair. It grows like wildfire.
When you look at facial structure many go for the wrong style, shape etc etc. Some look in a magazine and say “I want that look”, and come out looking like a punk gone wrong.
Influenced by an image they see in social media, happens a lot. Or a person they want to resemble.
Take a good look at yourself and see who you really are, before you go to the hairdressers and come out looking like a Christmas baul baul in acid.
