I was wondering if writing specific things about what you want or don't want on your profile, like No smokers, No marriage, No drinkers etc.? It might put lots off from not contacting you all, you miss that one .
Things like no smokers, no druggies, no marriage are okay but don't go into detail about your whole life. Hold off on no drinkers cause that implies she can't have a glass of wine with dinner. Keep her guessing on what you are all about but not to the extent that you lie about something. If she wants to know something she will ask you. And it works both ways.
Profiles that have chapters of talking themselves up and that have way too many want's and not want's are those who are all BS talking themselves up..All nonsense.boring people.
Profiles can go either way. I have seen way to many with almost nothing in them. I rarely look at men's profiles so I can't compare, but most of the women's profiles tend not to have enough. I always appreciate it when I read a well written profile with a fair amount of information.
Some do, if it's a full page how great someone is, it is too much.
Keep it positive and say what you are looking for and if there is one or two points you really feel strong about, you can mention these also (just don't make them front, back and centre).
It is important to get an idea about someone and the usual "laid back, go with the flow" etc. is something I would give a miss straight away.
If you start chatting with someone, you can mention some things in private mail (pretty much at the start, not after weeks)
