A good number of them are in districts with strong support for Trump. Trump's numbers have gone up since the public hearings started. I kind of think they're screwed either way to be honest.------ This poll is Archived ------

yep , they have been driven by the left and there's no stopping them . Should they fail that to will be Trump's fault. It does not seem to matter how many times the transcrip of the call is read it never changes no matter how much is read into it . Frankly I don't know why Yovanovitch just didn't lie . She could have and gotten away with it , hard to prove she has not seen corruption in a land where it rules . The dems are never going to do it.
First of all, the House is on a long recess because they work so hard. (sarc)
But mainly, on Impeachment the House operates outside the rules set by the Constitution and its Amendments. So witch hunts are A-OK at this moment. If a vote succeeds, the fun is over.
Because if they did, then it moves to the Senate. The rules are different there. Little things like evidence, the right to confront accusers, and all those protections offered in the Constitution and its Amendments, presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. It would fail so fast your head would spin.
The US Constitution and its Amendments make for some interesting reading, especially when you contrast the protections it offers to those of the rest of the world. Even for a President with orange hair, it's a good deal. Thank God he's not black. (sarc)

That's my prediction: Pelosi will abandon the vote, and offer up some spin like: 'We have enough information' and 'It would be irresponsible to go ahead with a trial in an election year'.
