I don’t know of anyone whose stayed up all night drinking beer unless they sipped on one.

and so decided to drink on overnight. its 4.20am now. i have no desire to stop. lol
i wonder why this happens on occasion. ?
Perhaps your brain is so anesthetized that you've gotten past the point where you can use your brain to make a decision.
Right now it's a habit to keep raising your arm to take another chug. I've done the same thing with potato chips, not using my brain to stop putting my hand in the bag.
It's an automatic reflex to keep picking up that bottle/glass.
By asking "why are you doing it" you answered your own question that you know you shouldn't
Maybe it's time now to not take another chug, put your jammies on and go to bed.

what i meant by why does this happen on certain occasions is...................that at times one can get an extra taste for the beer and it just taste nicer than usual...and it just comes out of the blue ..like a strange phenomenon . ..you feel like could drink gallons of it.....lol.

until they finally , sipped n slipped and fell into bed.

21st birthday in Australia was the 1st time I had alcohol. I was staying at a place with pool. I was fed drinks after drinks after drinks, beer, wine and so on. I was also thrown into the pool. Luckily for me, my head was still there.
Then, after that, my housemates and I went for clubbing. We drank and danced too. So, that night, was the 1st time I had alcohol and was up drinking till about 3am. Only after I tipped a waitress about 50 Dollars for doing nothing, did I realise I was drunk.
Then, we went home though luckily, I only had bit of headache else nothing else. I didn't throw up or anything. Slept by about 4 or 5am that day.
After that, sometimes I would go out with friends where even if socialise, not drink a lot. For me, all beers do is make 1 go to the Toilet. Don't get drunk with it. Wines on the other hand, can only manage 1 to 2 bottles while Spirits don't like much though have had bit and don't drink it much. Red and sweet wines are my favorite.
Whichever way, I try to see if I do get drunk, it's only with bit of headache because otherwise, it's nuisance. Also, I try to drink only when socialising or ocassionally. Not much

indeed... drinking i suppose is like that for most folk.= generally drink to moderation , but through into the early hours on occasion.. in your case your birthday kicked off the situation. of course been fed drink and thrown in a pool should not have happened. i drink to my own pace to enjoy and never to anybody else,s drum.
moderation is the key.

i drink through the night when the mood comes round.= perhaps few times a month on average. but it is never planned and totally random.
other nights i have different amount beers as mood takes, and some nights
they be in the fridge and wouldnt bother having one at all.
there is neither rhyme nor reason to it. lol
