OnlyLiveTwice: Oh, I've been a fool for love in the past. But then I found out it was infatuation with a fantasy. Does that make me a double fool?....a fool-fool?
Would like to fall in love. On line or in the real life: what's the difference? You fall in love with an image, mostly created by yourself, and therefore is't going to end badly. But while the feeling lingers, you are the happiest creature in the world :)
Yes, a passionate and burning question, this falling in love thing. Once it was so easy todo, and as we age, it gets more difficult. Until.....well, that's another thread right there. But I may not post one, because our favourite misogynist Lee resents the frequency of my delinquency, so I may not. But, we need to talk about this.
Palmfrond: i don't think anyone is the boss of you. write what you want. who cares?
Well seriously....after a certain age, we have had the 'virgin love' kicked out of us, the romance wrung out in divorce courts etc...falling love again becomes wishful thinking. Can one outgrow the concept?
I wan't to have in person interaction. Being able to observe their body language, looking in to one's eyes for possible deception, looking for a tan line on their ring finger, etc.
Palmfrond: i think, it is always possible to fall in love again. after al you mentioned, there is always a turn in the road that reveals a new experience.l
But would you agree it gets harder. With age, we lose our naivety, our innocence etc. We develop a thicker skin.
