I may never find another "mate for life". At my age, I will settle for friends and smart people. They need to like good food and drinks, excellent entertainment, witty conversations and drop-dead beautiful places. Live happily for tomorrow we can die.
There are many "singletons" living here on the forums. Nothing wrong with that either. As to your comment about age, when you get older you will realize it is just a number, as a wise 30yo told me here long ago.

I have been on many dating sites, and have had emails from about 30-40 on this site. Most of them find that we dont match up, as they were just wanting to be friendly and chat. Others were scammers that got deleted from the site.
and I still have not met anyone from any dating site. That might be a matter of trust, which I lost a lot of, when the 1st person started asking for money
