I've probably had worse than Corona, but I'm still picky about my phone.. Family are welcome tho..

Sure... If they have an emergency... The phone can be put in a plastic bag... If I needed it, I would love that anyone helped me... So, YES... I would let anyone use it, taking the necessary precautions as I said...

I would dial the number for them
Then put the phone on speaker so they could talk to whomever was called
I wouldn't let someone hold my phone at any time

Using something like a ziplock plastic baggie is an excellent idea Melody! That made me think of something ekse I could use as well.

I think I will keep some in my car now. I guess if I don’t have a ziplock baggie with me and someone wants to use my phone I could always use one of my fail-safe prophylactics that I carry with me and put the phone in it.

If it was clear to me that it was a medical emergency but not to use my phone to make a personal call.
Once I lent my phone to someone the immediately ran off with my phone. It was an expensive one plus there was private information information such as business such as identity information not to mention sentimental pictures that were precious to me. I was pissed needless to say.
I was dumb enough another time I let someone use it and they, quickly downloadled a Facebook/messenger that I had uninstalled permanently because I don't have an account with. I have no idea how they did it so quickly as I was standing very close by. Again, I was pissed at them and myself.
I agree with secret regarding if they dropped it and/or not being aware of any germs or having the covid virus.

For anyone using finger print ID on their phones, you should know that while the cops cannot force you to give up your password, they can force you to give up your finger prints so if you have anything that could be used against you on your phone, don't use finger print ID, stick to a password.
