On the subject of Flags, I didn't know it's not illegal to damage a flag in the UK . I just assumed this was illegal in every country , there's a petition on twit about it tae . Strange .

I think that for the same reason that the US Dollar, although a fiat currency like the Euro and others, is the Global Reserve Currency where central banks around the globe hold gazillions of dollar-denominated assets, mostly U.S. government bonds.------ This poll is Archived ------

Sadly your US Dollar is becoming less and less well regarded even among your remaining vassallies. to answer your question..... Japan is going to be left holding the baby since Russia and now China have signalled their intent to let the dollar goes from their own reserves.
Increasingly other nations are looking at settling their trade deals between one another in 'local currencies' ... ten / twenty years time you'll be writing threads in which you reminisce about the good old days, when America was relevant.
