Honesty does not mean someone is a good, moral, law abiding individual

When a person tell you something, you can
only take there word for it, so you still
wouldn’t know if they are being honest
or not, like I been talking to this guy for a whole
year, we went to Grammer school together, I just
found out this year he’s been lying to me the
whole time and I really thought he was telling the truth
and he wasn’t, he lied cause he thought I was gone
move him in, I actually was till I start putting the puzzle together, with a little help, that’s as far as I’m going cause it’s deep, glad I dodge a bullet tho
people will lie, deceive you cause they think you’re weak
only take there word for it, so you still

God made us the ones to talk less and honesty is the reason why. Manners are fake and men have more of them where women use more words.

So you are saying honesty is not a good trait. I happen to disagree as honesty goes along with all other qualities as I have all the qualities. I am not perfect by any means but they are connected.It is hard to find these qualities in a male unfortunately. Honesty seems hard to find as well as moral

There are degrees in every side of human interaction. I wouldn’t want him to lie about his feelings to me and what our relationship means to him. Nor would I want him to lie about significant events in his past. But I am of an opinion that a person is entitled for some private space – I myself need a lot – so he’s free to keep some parts of his soul to himself.

Oh the terrible fights and loss of friendships over “honesty”. I don’t know what to believe anymore. Franklin said “honesty is the best policy” but that is extremely situational. Corrie Tenboom could not have saved the refugees hiding in her attic if she had been “honest” with the Gestapo. Soldiers won’t survive if they’re “honest”. Things are not always what they seem, or what we would like to believe is fair and true. America would not be here had colonial citizens been lawful and truthful.

A brave decision from an ethical and compassionate woman ...

However, your history IS Indeed founded on those who cheated and stole ( from the British Crown who financed the explorations - as was the manner of the day ) and who rightfully expected ( according to contracts made ) to benefit by the acquisition of the territory and income from taxes etc.
Those involved at the time created the Foundations For American Dishonesty @ Governmental Level.
Trump is famed for ripping up contracts the he doesn't like and is not willing to honour ... but history shows ( and the American Tribal Peoples will attest ) that 'Cheating Lying and Stealing IS in fact 'The American Way'
So, Pompous Mick is something of a superstar for having said that so clearly ... the Ultimate Freudian Slip !
