What kind of lawyer do you need? Hindu Marriage Act or the Muslim Quran as you have the advantage in this one. Are you both willing to settle... if not you better do some heavy negotiations before handing over the retainer even though it could be minimal according to your finances. A mutual divorce will save you a ton of money... since she cheated on you and lied I have a good lawyer in mind you can try if he still practices in your area. Send me a PM for contact.

Having divorced after 30 yrs. We were lucky enough that our 3 children were grown up and fled the nest. No cheating on either part so our divorce went through after separating for 2 years. My daughter however has paid out more money by trying to do it online rather that just pay a Solicitor to sort it all out. Long story but there was 2 kids involved...............

Yes it's not nice but sometimes it's for the best. My kids were grown up so that was a blessing. I've lived on my own for 15yrs. Not actually "been on my own" I've enjoyed living and sharing, but I still love my own space now. Spent a lot of time in America since 2013. My last visit was Xmas NY 2018/19 for 7 weeks. I love my time there. Strolling along Atlantic City Boardwalk. Having lunch at Johnny Rockets. Spending a few bucks in Bally's Casino. I doubt that I'll be over there again any time soon with their stats on the virus but I talk to my guy most nights on Viber. At least he's down in the woods so has good isolation. Maybe this time next year, we may have a vaccine. What a year hey! ------ This poll is Archived ------
