Interesting thread topic...to just pick one thing is not easy...cause a number of things are key to a long lasting relationship...if you look back at traditional relationships...all the ingredients existed for a long lasting marriage/relationship and most couples meant...till death us do part

Where you ever married? Why did your last relationship break up? Did she leave you or did you leave her?
Just my understanding about certain types of women...in terms of age...attitude and stubbornness/being set in their ways..add to that...you wanting complete equality or perhaps dominance...as you were his mother figure and older tends to think wiser
LeeCharming: you have still not explained what happened in your previous relationship and as to why it ended I can't be giving you the ammo your looking for
I did, you must have missed it ... We both agreed that as much as we enjoyed our 3 month honeymoon lockdown, once life went back to near normal life, realised we were not compatible for everyday life together and agreed to "not live together", "not be a couple" and instead enjoy an honest friendship ...
Super simple ...
Wasn't looking for ammo ... was wondering how your views on relationships "till death do us part" impacted on your relationships and where they're buried Sorry couldn't help myself ... Since you're the one writing, they must be the deceased ones...
If two people don't have the "spark", they're not sticking around for the long haul. The spark keeps things going while the loyalty and respect kicks in.

I do believe that you answered that same question for him a while back.........

Wrong on all counts ... on this occasion ...
Equality is not dominance and wisdom is wisdom no matter the age or the gender... Anyone can be set in their ways, no matter their age and gender ... Determination is sometimes confused for stubbornness ...
I already mentioned I would not disclose the details to respect the privacy of the other person even though they are not a CS member ...
