My fella likes long red nails. So I try. Then either snap a couple to the flesh or use paint or some chemical and there goes the polish.
The fakes are dangerous. Especially the build up ones. Gal I heard of wore them for 10 years. Almost lost all her nails. Doc said no more. She did, til grew out all better and then...had them back on. Vanity your name is..IDIOT!
I dislike the fakes because they get so extreme. What, women wish to look like Mandarin lords? How do they toilet? Deal with daily chores? Long nails look nicer than stubby polished. But, I prefer claws on dragons!

If she takes the time and money to care for her hands she must take the time and money to care for the rest of her body and that's always a plus.
Also, a lot of women have weak nails and they use fake nails to protect their real nails.
Other women have tendency to bite their nails so they put fake ones on to break from the habit.
