I could suppose that the difference between a young man and an older, and wiser man is experience as well.
Having heard the stories of so many failed relationships, the bottom line and big warning flag is bad character in your (mis)chosen mate.
For my own part, while I do want certain physical attributes in a potential mate (well, female for starters), the central question is really 'does she have a good heart?' as the ultimate, deciding factor.
