Ok , so I see your brain is t functioning in normal mode , so I’ll give you my 2 pence worth.
I doubt many people on dating sites are serious about dating . CS is a prime example .
People who have been single for a long time, especially find it harder to date because they have become so independent & self sufficient, it would take someone extraordinary to convince them that they need someone in their life .

I'm allergic to online dating..Most people I know are addicted to it...Best bet is to go out and meet people naturally rather than relying on nothing but typed words..Paid sites are a scam so if you prefer online dating stick with a free site
I do feel that online dating for woman is like some ridiculous competition..Most men are affiliated with many sites so more than likely we;re all fed the same things as the next woman is

I think, that a paid service would have less trash and multiple profiles made by loonies. But the provider of these service isn't interested in you finding your match and leaving. They would like you to stay and pay for ever.
A service, that's focused on result, should be more reliable for people, who really want to meet someone for marriage. My guess is that it ought to be more expensive. Whether it works? Mabbe.
A free of charge dating site is heavily infested by scammers and overrun by bullies, but there are real and nice people as well. It's up to you to find them, make acquaintance and proceed from that :)

I think the clear answer really is any site that is heavily regulated and monitored and that you have to pay to be a member..
That automatically weeds out the boys from the men really.
A site like this anyone can join...not pay.. not post a pic...can give all the wrong info about themselves and it doesn't matter.
As Merc said and I agree...men would normally be on multiple sites...women less so....so you really are having to use your gut instinct with alot of them...a guy could pass himself off as one thing on here and another on a different site..

I,m well known so i dont have an issue with the truth aspect thing is i,m not used to lie,s scammer,s and conartists. and i have had a few cross my path and if i wont to or need to check if some one is real or not i,ll check on our German scammer forum and i have had to , i dont trust any one one forums like this one or a few i have been on ,
As of now this is the only one i,m on had enough of the other,s .
I will say i had to learn and from friends, dont trust any one i thought ....OH.... so that was a wow, okay. i would liked to have found some one for a long term relastionship. so really i learnt that wont happen , so very disapointing,

What I've observed so far , I personally think ,
Online dating is more in trend now..
But practically speaking , it's kind of a Gambling (specially on Free Dating Sites) ...
And paid service is not totally clear from doubt either...
Money can act as a Double Edged Sword ...
If a fraud want to register in a authentic paid site with fake ID proof , it will be easy for them to do it by paying some hidden commission to the authority ... Corruption is everywhere ...
And I think , very less people will really dare to take the risk to Gamble over their own life in this scenario ...
I'm not saying that in reality everything is perfectly fine.. Frauds exist everywhere...
And there are exception exist online too..
Genuine people do exist online too..
But they are unfortunately hard to find , mostly because of the demands of the compatibility criteria ...
But still , the chances to verify someones authenticity is better out there than on a free dating site , where people can pretend to be whatever they want...
Just seeing someone's photo or having a video chat is not enough to verify someone ... Specially when it comes to long distance online dating..
So..
Does that mean ,
Online dating is totally hopeless for serious relationship ??
Not really... If you are lucky and too much smart to recognise genuine people from the loads of scammers and frauds , and too much flexible abput your compatibility criteria , then you might have a chance to find a potential match online ...
Otherwise just treat it as a side option , not the main medium to find a Match...
