secretagent09: Jill knew that Jack was lying when he said "I had nothing to do with it". Jill knows he is lying but lets him think that she believes him. In your opinion is Jill being complacent in the lie?
Suppose Jack was with friends who robbed a grocery store.
Is Jill being harmful if she lets Jack think that she believes his lie?
Is letting him get away with a lie causing a disservice to him?
Suppose Jill has caught Jack in many lies...
She has confronted Jack with those lies...
Jack still will not admit he has lied...
So, Jill just moves on and leaves Jack and the lies behind.
the truth is morally corrupt people...can lie with ease and the untouchables can get away with any lie....cause they use their money and position of power...to make the truth disappear from sight and this has never...ever changed...no matter what society...we have had...cause those in the shadows see a use for these types people...to push an agenda and fill the pockets of the controllers
Money so easily corrupts and too many are getting a small taste of the pie...but I can tell them...the pie rots their soul...removes remorse...empathy...kindness...love and karma should be coming for them
rizlared: True regarding truth, but a lie is pretending an untruth is in fact true. Lying happens in life, we even have a way to describe a harmless lie, a white lie, but knowingly lying about a truthful fact is something I find abhorrent.
Twisting a truthful fact is also a lie, done usually to push an agenda.
Exaggerating is also a form of lying.
A truth can usually be proven, not so easy to prove a lie.
Censorship is not correlated to a lie, censorship is usually carried out to protect the weak.
Move back to China Joe's China, you communist bisch..
I go with the assumption that the majority of people I meet in one day, one week or my lifetime will lie to me. With that under my collar I won't be disappointed.

well, if everybody is lying, especially politicians, it's hard to find out what is the truth.
They tell us we're obese and we eat too much. Fact is, most people eat cheap food for they can't afford the expensive healthy food, and the cheap food is making us fat.
They tell us we eat to much meat. Well, how come we get more mcdonalds and burgerkingsrestaurants etc. than any other restaurant? And by the way, most veggieproducts are made of soja, sojafields are the biggest threat of the rainforrest in south America.
They tell us to be economical with the wateruse, while big companies and carcleaning companies are the big users of water.
In the Netherlands they want all people to stop using gas, but gas is one of the cleanest ways of energy. Now I'm cooking electric, and part of the electricity in my country is made by coal-fired power stations.
Our prime-minister has lied to the press, to his colleagues in government, he has committed misdemeanors, so if everybody is lying to you, even the people you should be able to trust, what is the truth???
