there are times when i'm not impressed by us guys sometimes i am. but i can say the same about women as well

The man who impresses me is the one who takes care of business. Self made men who succeed in whatever it is that drives them.
My dad was one. Immigrated from Germany just in time for the depression. Started up a factory and went broke twice. Third time succeeded. He was apprenticed at 14 and worked til 74. Wanted a white horse and got one. Wanted a farm and got one. And made sure to provide for mom and me for our lives after he died.
My first husband impressed me with his mechanical knowledge and skills. Not so much how he wasted his potential tho.
Late husband impressed me with his love, kindness and reversing his life from a biker to being the best husband he could.
My guy now impresses me. He is self taught in much, capable in most, worked from teen on and ended up a master electrician with a business at one time.
I am impressed with men who are kind, strong enough to lead and strong enough to let a woman lead when right.
