I lived in Margate (Broward) for a few years back in the early 60s. Back then there were a lot of canals and ponds, all kinds of wild life. Our house was on the edge of beautiful woods, people used to hunt and fish. All developed now right to the edge of the Everglades. I still love Johnathon Dickenson State Park. Don't think that's the same any more. Used to camp there together.Slims Fish Camp..
