Sure. Just imagine: fat, ugly, boring, controlling and poor. Even if it's 4 different men, the quantity won't compensate for anything :)

I do sometimes look at the bloggers and - bearing in mind they have their best pics up - I still think no no no not for millions. Which would no doubt be mutual if I had a pic up ... So now I am chatting on the forums, lol.------ This poll is Archived ------

Even if a list of features, taken separately, seem attractive, it doesn't yet mean that you'd like the sum of them. For me looks matter from the point that they tell the story about the wearer, more so as we age. A mug shot seldom says especially much, but a boring blog after a boring blog does. One also starts to wonder - even if briefly - about those people's choices: no job to attend to? no imagination or drift to maintain a hobby?
And then, as you said above, there's no light without shadow: you have to be prepared to compromise and adjust as everybody has some negative sides, both in appearance and character.

This gets more true with age and in the end I guess we balance what we want most against whichever flaws come bubbling up. I find I'm reaching the point where the eggtimer is taking over. This person is a 5 minuter, that person I can enjoy talking to for an hour, this one good for an entire evening, that one I won't even start the timer but race in the opposite direction, haha. Friendships grow when timers match and maybe love has nothing to do with the list and everything to do with not even noticing time spent together is passing ... that whole comment came out of back brain. I shall have to think more about it,

Good question! a 5 minute friend, someone you stop to talk to in the street, not just smile and wave. We all have some of those, especially in a small town. An hour friend is coffee and chat and it is lovely to have those. Evening friends, very nice to have those, mine tend to be couples (hence, hello, listing on a singles site) and romantically wouldn't it be great to have a plus one for those evenings?

Oh help yes, some drop-dead gorgeous can trigger get-away get-away the minute they start talking (usually about themselves, haha) and those few who can make us think or laugh (or both!) are gems. But they are few

Welcome to the forums. You will find out here you get what you send out. You send out positive and happy and it will come home to roost. I find a person attractive by how they carry their selfs. How they take care of their bussiness in life. I find a person with good morals attractive.
