The ten most prominent ones I am thinking of appear to be very narcissistic too. I am looking for numbers only and dont care about comments here in this thread.

galrads: Regardless, my own hypocrasy is unchallenged yet and I do not see that changing.
Many Americans on this site running down other Countries when they can't either be bothered to get up off their fat arses and visit other Countries to see how other people live. Spouting their mouths off whilst trying to text on their phones whilst shoving their big fat pizzas in their gobbs and yet they have the audacity to have a go at Kate saying that she's too thin Well! I'd rather be like Kate than big like the big flat slobs in America. I'm just saying like it is. I'm not thin but the obesity in America is totally disgusting now. I was classed as obese a few years ago when I lived in Spain. I was also a type 2 diabetic. I had to lose weight before I could have my hip replacement was done. My problem wasn't eating, I knew what my problem was, I rendered that. I'm not classed as a type 2 Diabetic anymore. I'm not obese anymore. I had my hip replacement done and I won't gain weight to put any pressure on it. We all have choices in our lives. I chose to lose my weight to have my hip replacement done and also changed my life style to not being a type 2 diabetic anymore taking 2 tablets per day. Yes! I am so proud of myself because only I could do it............I've achieved most of the things that I wished to achieve, I have no regrets whatsoever ....My 3 kids even know that this is my favourite song
Selenite: The title of the thread speaks of hypocrisy whereas what you wrote speaks of narcissism...
Anyone responding to the title could be seen to be agreeing to your definition of narcissism
People who are hypocrits are not necesserally narcissists I don't think
I'm guilty because I feel the need to respond to the people that throw out insults to the Uk or Spain when they can't even keep their own Counties in order.
gonelikethewimd: Miss C...I agree with you on many things.....And yes, a few do...put down other countries..
I only see many people putting down America....
I never try and run down America . There's a big difference from America the Country as apposed to Americans that live there. The same goes for us Brits, we are Brits but most of us are called Islanders by some Americans on here which is a total "Insult" to me personally.

People don’t put down America. People respond to those Americans on the site with an inability to maturely discuss issues. Their usual response is name calling and other insults. There are also Americans on this site who continually post petty, antagonistic blogs/comments deriding other countries and their peoples. The OP is the perfect example of this type of emotional immaturity and questionable judgement.

"Islanders"?? Hmm, I'm 'Murican and never heard that one.
But then again I haven't left the 'States and gone 'across the pond' to driving on the left side of the road while dodging lorries so I can take a lift and watch the telly in my hotel room while eating fish and chips and drinking warm beer. That's what watching British comedy has done for me, my fine fellow! I mean, Bob's your uncle, God Save the Queen, and all that. Fictionally, The Rt. Hon. Sir Admiral Hoxbreath-Trainstation (Mrs.)(Ret.)(Deceased).
And in a far more serious vein, no one who knows the courage of the British people during WWII would ever cast them as mere islanders, nor as the memories fade of D-Day (78 years ago yesterday in 'Murica!), when the British stormed the beaches at Normandy, nor when they stood all but alone after Dunkirk, up to the Blitz and the Doodle-Bombs/Buzz Bombs, won the Battle of Britain, sank the Bismark, fought their way across North Africa, and kept the West in the war when it looked so bleak from those not of that stout isle. None of any sense would ever take the people and nation doing so much as mere islanders as if they had never been a world power, nor still putting their hands across the seas in stout comradeship with the United States, an ally who has stood with us in places where others failed or feared to go to this day.
Islanders?? Nay, Nay, a thousand times nay! Though they may live on an island, the British are not islanders isolated from the world, nor hiding from it. And though they, like their island, may from time to time be momentarily submerged in the foam and waves of human affairs, they remain far more than the land upon which they live.
Not everything is so pat. I've written about this before: Corrie Ten Boom and her family could not have saved human lives during WWII if they had adhered to "Honesty Is The Best Policy". Writer Walt Whitman wrote, "Do I contradict myself? Very well, I contradict myself. I am large."
