i thought it would be good for the long out of town bike trips with it's small and very portable size. would do all i might need.
turns out; i never realized how little i care about technology when i'm out trying to live a life when responsibility and obligation allow for a break.

I get that. The only digital communication device I take with me while I am away from home is my cell phone and then its primary use is navigation.
Oh, look at you all 'techy' and such there! I've got a Commodore VIC-20 and I think it had a dial-up modem with it; got it used from a friend long ago. I still have an analog phone line, so I can fax as well! I'm so cool the women are gonna be lining up to hang with me like it's 1989! Now all I need is an adapter for the RF modulator to use a digital tv or monitor, or some kind of video convertor box, and I'm back in the good old days of BASIC, and a whopping 170KB 5 and 1/4 inch floppy disk.
(Slightly more seriously here, the Linux-based software for the first recreated Commodore 64's is still available for download; even has a C-64 emulation mode. I grew up in the era of the home computer's heyday. But here's a video you might like from the now-closed-down company)(tears up a bit; sniffles; RIP Commodore, Texas Instruments, Atari, Colecovision ADAM, Franklin Computers, Vendex, Mattel Intellivision Aquarius, etc.)
desktop thank goodness bigger screen than my former laptop. using a phone thats a laugh. ppl if they had sense would use phones for what they are meant for to talk to ppl.
