Think you better go with the street glide. You're getting to the age where comfort matters more than coolness.

The 'Glide looks to me like the better over-the-road bike. That, and the less dramatic steering rake suggests to me it would likely handle a bit better.

both bikes are great. find the dealer you like, they will work with you
in getting a test ride on the ride you like. my self, low rider , rode one
all last summer. loved it. glide is nice, body size makes a dif. too.

I've got a sporty now just have out grown it and want a more comfortable ride and something I can ride for years to come.
I'm leaning towards the Street Glide, And I like the fact it has a Stereo

What are you planning on doing with the bike?
If you are just putting around town with an occasional short trip the the Low Rider is just fine.
If however you want to make migratory weekend trips to various places the I would suggest the you get the street glide.
Either way if I were going to get one I would still look like a monkey f@*#ing a football because of my height.....
I do that on my EG Classic.

I have a Dyna Wide Glide at the moment. After a broken hip, it isn't the most comfortable to ride anymore. I am leaning towards a Road King myself when I get ready for a new one.

I wish I had my old 90 Low Rider w/ the stroke motor and 6 speed back.

Then go for the street glide. No question there. Although it is nothing to do a couple hundred miles on a lowrider, you do want to move when you get there....
