The 'Glide looks to me like the better over-the-road bike. That, and the less dramatic steering rake suggests to me it would likely handle a bit better.
both bikes are great. find the dealer you like, they will work with you in getting a test ride on the ride you like. my self, low rider , rode one all last summer. loved it. glide is nice, body size makes a dif. too. good luck. see you on the road.
I have a Dyna Wide Glide at the moment. After a broken hip, it isn't the most comfortable to ride anymore. I am leaning towards a Road King myself when I get ready for a new one.
Then go for the street glide. No question there. Although it is nothing to do a couple hundred miles on a lowrider, you do want to move when you get there....
I will say this, however - My ex talked me into getting a brand new scooter three years ago - I was still of the Michigan mindset that brand new was a bad idea. A lot easier to rationalize here. She was right about something...
