Hard to believe, isnt it.

Yeah, all the reruns are on TV still. Recently in the Sunday newspaper magazine section, there was a write up about the main stars of the show and were pictured as they look now and the feelings they have towards the show. I didn't save the write up though and don't recall much more of it.
I do recall that Ginger said that she hated playing the part she had and hated wearing the outfits she was fitted with.
I believe the captain and Mr. and Mrs. Howell are no longer alive.

Precisely why I was amazed she'd never heard of it, even across the pond.

gilligans island was on t.v. in england. i watched it all the time,jant cant remember what year it was,maybe before the othres were born lol

Yes, I spent some of my childhood in Canada. Used to watch it (about 40 years ago!), loved it!!


One of the actors in it also did the voice of Mr Magoo, didn't he?

Well if she had any sense of history then she would know of the fateful trip of the Minnow. For those of you who may not be aware of this tragedy
