It's raining cats and dogs....what do you do with your day? Obviously a lot of us will do a combination of many of the above.....what's your FIRST choice of things you would prefer to do with your rainy day....let's see if there are any trends....there is special software intergrated in this poll....a dishonest vote causes your computer to grow legs, jump off the table, run outside and explode in the rain.....

Dammit, I'm the only person who put down 'procreate' as my answer in the poll - but maybe that was wishful thinking or memories of my youth or.......whatever!
I do know it's nice to be inside and see and hear the rain hammering against the windows and see the lightning from INSIDE rather than being out in the cold and rain, soaking wet, and wondering how many days you have left out on 'exercise' before you return back to 'civilisation'

Why did I pick today of all days to wash the curtains???....when a man decides to get all serious about house cleaning, the gods should bless him with a sunny day...but at the moment Malta resembles Indonesia in the monsoon.....so I've got wet curtains inside, hanging limp against the walls, and limp curtains hanging outside in the pouring rain....whoopee...it's enough to make a man go limp....

Exactly....quite so.....I honestly thought that most homo-sapiens with any brains would vote for being steamy on a rainy day...but no, look at the poll...most of us are sitting on the friggin' internet....I'm convinced that we will die out as a species within the next 3 generations....of course it would be interesting to try do both at the same time, but as we know, men cannot multitask....

Well, what do i do when its rainy.
1. If its a working day...i just go.....hating the rain every cm. i drive and pray that my car breaks work...(had a part experience with the brakes failing)
2.If i dont have a reason to go out ...i either stay in bed or watch TV or chat on the internet......
3. But today, i am holding a party at my house, so i was very busy and the rain did not bother me at all.I was too busy preparing all kinds of stuff to nibble later with my guests.The only thing that bothered me was, when the lights went out because of the thunder .
4. And please Mr. Lagoona , do stay away from Malta......its seems that every time you are in Malta we have all kinds of bad weather......

Same as everyone else, plus still going for walks because my doggy won't let me sit in front of the computer for too long even on a rainy day - which is why a pair of good rubber boots is an essential piece of accessory to have with this breed... LOL I quite like walking in the rain anyway, especially in the autumn as there are a lot of yummy wild mushrooms in the forest.

When I wake up and I hear its raining, my first thoughts are"will my car start?"(its quite an old model and it really does not like rain very much ) and if I am lucky and it starts,I am very happy because at last it got washed.Besides that, I enjoy the rain and I might go for a walk and return with shoes full of water and ice cold feet!but still I enjoy walks in the rain.But I am not"singing" in the rain because than even the rain would disapear!Have a nice sunday, with or without rain!

Yes, it is true....every time I go to Malta, the heavens open.....this could be quite a promising career for me...and I could get to dress really wacky too........are there people called `professional rainmakers`??....I have only ever spent summers here, now the rain comes in sheets, and goes on for hours....another month like this plus a bit more heat, and a branch of Chiqita Bananas will be sprouting up in Gozo....

I used to have a Golf, collecting water... til I found out if you open the bonnet and look to where beneath the windscreen there is a grate for ventilation of the engine, it has a drain running along.
If in autumn leaves collected in that drain it got clogged, the water found some way to enter the chassis and got had a drenched inside...
It didnt influence its performance tho'.
At any rate ... a good heavy rain does save you from a car wash
