Yes this is true...I am not so sure everyone has learned though that doesn't know what it's like...it's all just hidden behind political correctness and justification these days....and in different forms...

Welllll because people don't bother to stand up...it only takes a few....and also when those few do choose to stand up...the people in power aren't prepared to listen all they have are justifications....

Even though these events happened in the past e.g. Holocaust, I wonder how much differently we would have handled these same situations had they occured now in modern times? Many say never again but there are so many examples of this same inhumanity towards others still going on today.

As we have seen from so many examples in history, that standing up often means putting your life and sometimes your family's life at risk to do what is right.

Yes we have learnt from history but I dont think it will necessarily stop us making the same mistakes.......
