I'm just curious which you prefer. I've ridden on the back of each.

The "crotch rocket" was probably my least favorite. And in my opinion, these people like to go the fastest... scarey.

The chopper, while a beautiful motorcyle to look at, was OK to ride, but not much room.

The Harleys, most were comfortable to very comfortable. I even rode on one which had armrests for the passenger to just sit back & enjoy the ride!

I will definitely select Harley every time. There are some great rides out there in touring and cruising lines, but I'm still at the point where I prefer rumble and grumble whether it be on a Hog or custom chopper.
I don't discriminate against street bikes and sport bikes, but it's a completely different ride mentality...cool ...for me, it's not about how fast you get there, it's about the ride and the fun along the way

Have a good one - keep the rubber side down thumbs up

I loved my horses when I had them, though I have to say they do take a lot of work, and I had less and less time to enjoy them.
but there is nothing like an 8 hour ride through the woods, with no sounds but you, your horse and nature. wine

Well, judging by the smell & the fact that I have no use for fertilizer, I'll take the exhaust fumes. grin

I've ridden on several different bikes in my life, and my favorite is any touring bike, but especially the Honda Goldwings. Quieter and less vibration than the Harleys.

The only bike I ever owned was a '39 Indian. I don't think I'd ever ride another bike, although I was loaned the use of a BSA once, and it wasn't bad. grin cool

Ive got pics of my two on my profile. I had horses before the bikes and after. I think I enjoy riding the horses more. A horse has a personality, and if you match it raises it to a whole new level.

Agreed. I've never gotten to own my own, but I started riding at the age of 4...still love them, and would love to own one some day.

When I was turning 16, my parents gave me a choice between getting a horse or a car. I chose the horse, and they told me I was getting the car...and buying it myself. sigh

I got to lease a horse when I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He was an awesome horse...they tested me, and put me at the top of the list for their best horse. And he and I were a great match together. I had a ton of fun that year getting out and riding in the desert. sigh I miss being around them.
