one cannot change another person, if changes are to be made they have to come from within.

I accept all people as they are...Some of them though I choose not to have as a part of my life...They are who they are and I am who I am...

Definitely....thats why u fall in love with them in the first place...

laugh tho one of my ex-boyfriends had a god awful dress sense.. he was from a farming family... so used to wear these really awful jumpers and shirts.. I never critised him... but I did always get him clothes as gifts... laugh...

To say that I accept someone and wouldn't want to change them is easy, as long as you're just my friend. Love is action, not words, however, and my sort of actions are meant to help people grow and evolve. To love someone is to care about their evolution. I could no more tolerate a stagnant mate than I could tolerate or accept a stagnant me.

The second most concrete reason that I will probably be single the rest of my life is that I will not change for anyone but me. I don't particularly like me..so if you don't HIT THE ROAD. If I take an interest in you, it's because I like you. I believe the most problems come into play when a person tries to change themselves to meet someone elses approval, not when someone tries to change another person. There will only be failure

If I'd wish to change something in anybody, for me that's a signal that there is some incompatibility.

Thus if it was partnet, it would be better to end a relationship.

If its just friends, I'll accept them as they are, after all nobody's perfect.

most times with military or any kind of intelligence, when there is an unidentified suspect, pysychologists and profile builders always come up with a dress sense they think the perpetrator would have and believe me, it works. so i guess it works with people too.

I believe if there is love with two different people...

There will always be change.
Not in the way we hold our principals but in the small things.

If one shy and the other very outgoing... then one needs to tone down and the other needs to come out.

if one is open and thr other reserved... the same chnge needs to take place

there will always be a meeting of the personalities... but if love is true it will be worth the work and the changes.
