I don't mind creed, colour, height, clothes, location, belief system, anything....just as long as people are nice, friendly and without an agenda!

hmmm My main question, Diva, is what triggered this question...hmmm

I'm with someone 10.5 years younger, and my main reason is that I need someone to take care of me in my old age...

Seriously, I never looked for someone younger - and she wasn't looking for someone older. But someone who actually is insistent on finding someone 20 - 30 years younger is likely attempting to hold onto an illusion. If a lady wants a man 20 -30 years older, I'm guessing she wants to hold onto an inheritance. laugh hug wave

Beyond the jokes and all that.....

.....I have enjoyed the company of younger women on various occasions, and in effect, most of my closest friends are such.....

and from their own experience....most seem to feel that older men provide them with much more attention and allow them more space to develop their own individualism then men their own age seem to do....

......in short....they feel respected more by older men.....and even though the gymnastics might differ.....but at the end of the game they feel more women then they do with people their own age....


.....and I am only repeating things told me by them directly.....not in any way meaning I am any expert on the subject...

Ah Ambrose... such a smart lad wink

Several reasons. One, when I was in my 20s, I'd have never considered dating someone 10 years older, let alone 20 or 30 yrs older. I don't think young women today are much different. Yes, there are exceptions, but few. How many lasting relationships are there that involve a significantly younger partner? I cannot think of one.... wait.. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore and she had 400K worth of cosmetic surgery.

As a woman, I wouldn't be caught dead dating a guy when I can expect to become his nursemaid in a few years. (Sorry, but I'm being honest).

The other day, I was out and since it's easter, there are all these outdoor concerts here, etc., so I went to have a look and I noticed that there was a disproportionate amount of old women (widows) out there, but very few old men. That got me to think about how much sense it makes for a female to marry a guy significantly older.

Sure, if you or I are the older person, then it makes all the sense in the world, but if you're the younger being pursued by an older person, then you would have to be nutz to go with someone older.
