It depends, smoky. Here I do, because I like the people. And we have fun and as we discussed, we have an internet closeness, so I do open them and I like them.
In the interants, I tend to avoid polls, unless there is a good question attached, never mind the Youtube links.

I like them. I enjoy the self-expression people have by using the music and artists to express their moods/feelings.
And then of course ... I also enjoy going off on a tangent on uTube for a while ... and then when I return to CS someone may have finally posted something!

I love youtube, the things I have learned.
I often browse, when there is a long line of threads with my name as last poster.
And also, youtube does give ideas for threads.
You are right, it does give off an aura that leads us to empathising with a poster and their feelings.
I love the thread going at the moment. It is a good indicator of how our lovely members are feeling.

Yeah I voted for the YouTube links. It' mostly good to see what others enjoy and gives an insight into their preferences in music. And there's always that little button you can click on!
