I think on here theres a possibility that you can choose. I mean in real life you see someone and you know whether theres chemistry or not. Here you can't do that so you choose to get to know some more than others

Shouldn't the question be "is it POSSIBLE to think twice before falling in love with someone"? 
In my experience, that's like asking whether one should think twice before getting struck by lightning - yes, one probably should - but you just don't get the chance! Falling in love just happens with me - usually when I least expect it and often with the most unsuitable men!!
Ah well - guess that's why I'm here now - but heck - it's been fun along the way!!

there is no correct answer. depends on you and your experiences,whether they were good or bad, if they were bad, how deeply did they affect you, how much more can you take.
the person you meet could be for real or pretending. if the person is for real, there are still the forces of life pulling on them( work,goals,kids, whatever)
who are you? are you the kind of person that wants to have blind faith, what will be will be?
or the kind of person that wants to feel like they have some sort of control over the outcome?
no matter how you look at it, it's a gamble.
do you want to buy a lottery ticket or play blackjack?
roll the dice, or figure the odds?
i don't think one way is necessarily better than the other, one way is better for some, the other is better for some others.
maybe you have tried one way several times without success, and decided you are not insane(doing the same thing over and over expecting different results),and are ready to give the other way a try.
you can get advice, and with these things, i would recommend getting some. but ultimately only you can answer what is right for you.
