dieting right now
I have lost over 100 lbs 3 different times in my life. I have never bought a diet book, or joined any diet center. Just common sense like Paws said....
I replied with yes. Over the years I've done shots, Nutri System, Fen-Phen, Jenny Craig (twice), even Liposuction (shhh, don't tell anybody). And yes I'm on a diet now, but I'm looking at it more as tracking what I eat and paying attention to it instead of just blindly grazing (like a cookie every time I get up from my desk at work...lol) I've noticed if I stay up too far past 10:00 pm then it starts getting difficult because I start getting hungry cuz my body is still going & wants fuel...good reason for going to bed at 9:00...lol
Yep:)I been in martial arts since I was 3 that help out a lot And doing a 100 push ups,100 sit ups, boxing and running helps out too PS And eating right(well trying to eat right lol)
In some way shape or form I've stuck to my low carb "diet" for about 6 years. As I've mention before, I lost 40 lbs in a year....about 30 of it's still off...once spring comes though, the other 10 should come off...just need more physical activity.
Never follow other peoples diets, people are different and so should diets.. I am always on a diet, working on dropping body fat % to under 10% ATM Cardio is also I big part just 20 minutes a day and fat will drop off like crazy
LOL .... once my junk food is depleted I'll think about it.
Watched a show on TV from the UK called "You are What You Eat" ...... and its definitely true that it makes a huge difference when you make the choice to eat healthy along with some exercise. Definitely got to get back into that - and being more conscious to make better choices at the grocery store.
Very true ..... I met a couple who have had tremendous health improvements since consulting a naturopath - they said it was expensive (especially for the blood work analysis) but well worth it in the end. It would be great if our health care system recognized the importance of these professionals and offered to cover their services.
I do not diet per se. I do watch what I eat more now than ever before, after being diagnosed borderline diabetic. So all those sodas I used to drink and a lot of other stuff is out now. Lost 60lbs just cutting that stuff out.
I happened to be on a diet a couple years ago. Now don't laugh because it worked...it was a chocolate diet (of all things).
The way it worked was, you're only allowed to eat one huge block of chocolate immediately any time of the day and nothing after that. Drink lots of water and as much tea or coffee as you want. I was on this diet for 2 months and lost roughly about 48 pounds. After that I hated chocolate and still don't like it today...
