I've not been in any Obama's threads or political threads in a long time. I did my duty during that phase. I go in waves with that. Now it's game off.
Red wine rules btw. I can't drink white wine, my body rejects it for some reason. I don't drink that much really, but I did last night and odd pagan activities resulted from the excessive drinking with them Swedes lol

OK, if I must choose, it would be a good red merlot.

pebblesbamban: cool .. red wine for my friend.... I don't drink too....
I guess if I have to choose one (not for myself) it would be red.
Once some got spilled on my yellow curtains and they turned bright orange when I tried to wash them. It made me sad but heck, they're just curtains. Bla, bla, bla

I don't drink anymore. When I dated, I drank white. If I was to drink now, I would choose red because it has been said it is good for your health, within reason.
I have always preferred robust, hardy red wines. Preferably a bit fruity like Sangria, or Lambrusco, though I do love a good Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon as well. Though there are some white wines I like, mostly rieslings. And I do like the blush wines like White Zinfandels.

Predominantly red..... and Italian! I'm a bit of a trad when it comes to wine, not too keen on the NW wines, though I have found a couple of lovely SA ones from the Stellenboch region.
Amarone, a nice Barolo, or I may even settle for a Bardolino. If I have white, my faves are Tocai, Trebbiano and especially Bianco di Custoza (mostly from the Veneto region of NE Italy).
