I have to admit that I love the name Bubba also, but in Canada we also use 'Bubba' as an adjective of sorts. For example 'Don't be such a Bubba!', when someone acts like they come from the sticks.
To be a true Bubba though you need to:
-Eat chitlins once a week -Have a sister-in-law who is also your granny -Have an empty bath tub sittin in your front yard -Have a pick up truck -Own a shotgun -Wear overalls with no shirt on underneath -Consider Kentucky Fried Chicken 'lawd mighty uppity food
Yup, I love the name Bubba also...Fijne Dag Meneer
Dickhead. For some reason this name always sticks in my brain.
Once upon a time, long long ago, I had this boyfriend .... and my daughter-in-law was arranging a Haloween party and asked me if I was inviting....... him.
My little grandaughter was sitting with us, she was about 7 then, and I didnt want her to know I was not inviting him, cause he was her favourite "handsome man" ... so I said "Nah, I don`t think I`ll invite Dickhead"....... And she piped up with "But WHY gwan? Wots wrong with Hans?" (HOW did she know who "dickhead" was?) ..................
