Even in the Bible King Saul visited the witch of Endor to have her cast a spell to bring forth the ghost of the Prophet Samuel so he can ask him a question... Or is it???
gopi59: This includes male and female witches, good and bad.........
Sure why ever not, placing a specific thought into the mind of someone else has been happening since time began, hypnosis, mind manipulation and simple illusion were all used by Witch Doctors and similar.
Yes, I do. I've done them when I was a practicing solitary witch, and I've seen the results.
No, I no longer cast spells, nor practice as a witch. I've moved more towards shamanism, healing, and practicing as a druid with simple reverence for all around me instead, though I still tap into and feel the energy around me.
gopi59: Yes, but only in the sense that superstitious fear can have very real effects on people, as evidenced in cases where a witch doctor's curse has actually caused the death of the person cursed.
It's like a negative version of the placebo effect. If the victim believes he is cursed then he really IS cursed. It's not "magic" but it might as well be. The effect is the same.
2nd try. Do you believe in SPELLS (as cast by witches? The curse is psychosomatic.

Oh please let me tell this story... Not like anybody could stop me.
When I lived in Hampton VA. There was this woman that the whole neighborhood was scared of. They claimed, she knew voodoo. She got mad at me one day, and told me... and I quote. "I will take a pair of your drawers off the clothesline, and bury them in the front yard and you will be scared to leave your house." I do not know what it meant so I told her to do what made her feel better. She had the whole neighborhood afraid.
Well that night, I took an ovenstuffer out of my freezer, and sprinkled it with dry kool-aid all different flavors. The colors ran all over the place. Then I stuck those colored sewing pins all over it. In the middle of the night I put it on her porch with a lit candle sticking out of it.
Now honestly, I had no idea of what the hell I did. All I know is I sat at my window and watched this woman flick off the next day while enjoying a cup of coffee, my sister was visiting, and we laughed our asses off. We watched her throw some type of powder out of her mojo bag while screaming something to the top of her lungs. So even though some of us do not believe, a lot of people really do.

I bought a book on witchcraft..One of the spells was to stick pins in a candle, name the candle your loves name, and when it burns down to the pin he will call. Another was to run naked in the full of the moon sprinkling flower petals then true love will find you. I HAVEN'T TRIED IT, BUT IF SOMEONE DOES LET ME KNOW.

I believe if a person believes strongly enough in something there is a good chance that it may come true-at least as true as they see it. The mind is a funny thing and if you want it bad enough you can trick yourself into believing it
